Intel announce Oak Trail Atom solution is being used for over 35 different tablet and hybrid devices, has also exposed a new and never before seen Lenovo tablet. The name of the product is said by Intel to be Lenovo IdeaPad Slate and it’s coming soon.For features Intel states the IdeaPad slate will offer their new 1.5GHz Intel Atom Z670 single-core processor. The Z670 which is paired with the PowerVR SGX535 graphics processor is the new Atom for embedded systems that was announced today by Intel.With the GPU the Z670 offers MPEG acceleration for smoother Full HD 1080p playback along with Intel Wireless Display (HD video streaming technology) support.The only other bits of info made known by Intel is that the IdeaPad Slate will feature 2GB of RAM, a 30GB SSD as well as finger touch and stylus input capabilities. With no mention from Intel or clue from a product image the operating system of choice for the IdeaPad Slate is unknown, but the Z670 according to Intel does offer support for Google Chrome, Android, MeeGo and Windows operating systems.Lenovo to date hasn’t said anything official about the IdeaPad Slate.
