MWC 2012 – ViewSonic Introduced 9.7-Inch ViewPad E100 Tablet

ViewSonic has revealed a number of devices at MWC 2012. Although the official event of ViewSonic isn’t here yet, the press conference and the display at the booth were enough to reveal it all. Apart from a 7-inch Android 4.0 tablet, ViewSonic has also brought to fore a 9.7-inch ViewPad E100 tablet. It tools a 1GHz Cortex processor and a bright IPS display with LED backlights.

The E100 tablet comes with support for micro SD and 3G. Naturally, the tablet uses Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It also has the usual Bluetooth and USB connections.

The user experience of ViewPad E100 is fairly smooth. It is very lightweight and fairly slim, which makes its looks quite attractive. Moreover, it’s a mid-range Android tablet, with ViewSonic saying that it will cost ‘less than $499.’ That makes it a fairly decent contestant among mid-tier Android tablets.

According to ViewSonic, it will start shipping the tablet sometime in the second quarter of 2012.
