NPad Moorestown Based Tablet

China based Redflag software company have successfully showcase a working prototype recently during a software trade event held in Dalian city in China.

Physically, the NPad looks quite similar with iPad but internally, it was quite differently designed with Intel next generation Moorestown processor based on X86 architecture as compared to Samsung A4 ARM based processor used in iPad. At the same time, the Operating Systems are running with MeeGo, a Linux based collaboration result from Nokia and Intel targeted for handheld devices. With its 10.1-inch touchscreen panel, it is no doubt in a great advantage versus a relatively smaller screen size designed in iPad. Besides, it has been integrated with WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G and GPS features that make it a powerful tablet PC companion suitable for business executives, professional or frequent travelers.

No pricing information yet, the NPad will be commercialized by third quarter this year and is promised to be lower in retail price as compared to iPad as a late comer to market.
