The WiFi-only version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab has features a 1GHz Samsung Hummingbird processor, a 7-inch touchscreen display with resolution of 1024 x 600 pixel, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, runs Android Froyo (2.2), and 16GB of storage.
The tablet runs Google Android 2.2 with Samsung’s Touchwiz software on top, as well as the Swype virtual keyboard.
TigerDirect is selling the Galaxy Tab for $349.99 with same-day shipping. It’s also available from pre-order from Amazon for the same price.
For 3G model of the Samsung Galaxy Tab is also already available in the US via providers such as Verizon for cost of $199.99, US Cellular ($199.99), T-Mobile ($249.99), and Sprint with price of $199.99.
