Earlier we have seen Samsung unveiling 7-inch Galaxy Tablet 3. And lately, Samsung has announced an 8-inch Galaxy Tablet 3.
The 8-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 weighs 314 gram (11 ounces) and measures 209.8 mm x 123.8 mm x 7.4 mm. The tablet runs Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) and comes with a 1.5 GHz Exynos dual-core processor, WXGA TFT display providing a resolution of 1280 x 800-pixel and 189 PPI and 1.5GB of RAM. Besides, it also packs a 5-megapixel rear-facing, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, 16GB or 32GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot to expand the memory up to 64GB. This device will have a standard Li-ion 4,450 mAh battery.
The 8-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 supports 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS and GLONASS navigation. In addition, the device will come with Samsung’s latest suite of TouchWiz apps such as Samsung Hub music, games, and video apps, Samsung’s S Translator, S Travel, and Dual View apps, and ChatON chat app. It also features the Google Play Store and other Google apps including Google Maps, YouTube, and Google Now.
Samsung hasn’t revealed the pricing of 8-inch Galaxy Tab 3, but it has mentioned that the tablet will be available globally in June. There will be 3G and 4G versions of this tablet too.
