There really are a lot of tablets being announced at CES 2011 and Velocity Micro kept their footprint in that line. The company has just launched their new lineup of Android tablets as well: the 7″ Cruz Tablet L37, the 8″ Cruz Tablet P38, and the 10.1″ Cruz Tablet L510.
The 7-inch Cruz Tablet L37 comes with a 1024 x 600 capacitive touch display, 802.11n WiFi, 4GB of internal memory, front / rear camera, optional 3G, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1 and a micro HDMI port. The 8-inch P38 is basically identical to the L37, but comes in a 4:3 form factor and a 1024 x 768 display. The 10-inch L510 packs a 10.1″ 1366 x 768 capacitive touch display and a Nvidia Tegra 2 (T-250) processor / graphics.

The tablets all feature front and rear facing cameras, 3G data options, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS and eCompass functionality, HDMI out and, sticking to its eReader roots, Velocity Micro will be pre-installing the Amazon Kindle app on the tablets. The devices are all expected to ship with Android 2.2 or 2.3.
There is not any pricing information or availability. However, Cruz has traditionally sold their tablets at the sub-$300 mark, so we are expecting similar price tags here as well.
