Video Shows Next-Generation iPad With Translucent Logo

Rumors about Apple devices are fairly common affair. However, that doesn’t mean that all of them are right or wrong. A new video has leaked on to the web, showing what it claims to be the next-generation iPad. The tablet shown in the video is partially-assembled and contains a translucent logo.

Next-gen iPad

A Japanese blog posted the said video, although it hasn’t exactly revealed how it came upon with the video. In the 30-second video, you can see what appears to be a 9.7-inch iPad with a design that is somewhat different from the design of the current-generation iPad slates.

To be specific, the iPad slate shown in the video has rounded corners and thinner bezels together with a rear-facing microphone. Moreover, the blank front panel covers an aluminum rear shell and it can be seen through the front glass. Although this feature looks really cool in the video, it may be somewhat difficult to implement.

The video doesn’t exactly reveal a lot of information. The inside circuitry of the slate is nearly entirely missing, so one can’t really tell what changes do the internals of the slate contain. In recent months, we have seen a number of leaks surfacing about Apple’s devices, so it is hard to state exactly how authentic this latest video is. From the looks of it, though, the video does seem real and may actually be a pre-release view of the upcoming next-generation iPad.
