There are a number of ways prevalent in the field of psychology to judge the personality of an individual. The most eminent of these indicators is the Myers-Briggs Type indicator. This indicator was coined by the famed psychologist Carl Jung who pretty much reshaped the field of psychology. Normally, psychologist categorize human into 16 categories, based on their personality traits. A number of metrics are done to gauge the exact category that an individual fits in, metrics such as Introversion (I) or Extroversion (E), Thinking (T) or Feeling (F) and others. For instance, if you are deemed an ISTJ, that would mean that you are a person who is introvert, sensitive, thinking and judging.

CPP is a prominent publisher of Myers-Briggs personality assessment. It furnishes different tool to gauge the personality of individuals and has now rolled out an infographic which goes on to show what types of personalities the users of different social media networks have.

And those with ‘Feeling’ tend to interact more often on Facebook compared to those who are deemed as the ‘Thinking’ types. Also such individuals with a preference for ‘Intuition’ tend to use Facebook more than those with a preference for ‘Sensing.’
