Google has been working on the uploader tool in Panoramio to make uploading more fun, and relevant, to the photographs. Now, Google has announced some new features for Panoramio which will enable the users to geo-tag their photos. Panoramio is basically a community site which contains photos of different locations.

The best thing about Panoramio is that photos can be shared with each other and also, they can be explored in Google Maps as well as Google Earth to get to know the exact locations of the shots.

Now, Google has added the functionality to geo-tag your photos on the right place on the map. When you upload a photo and are searching online the location where it was taken, you will be presented with a number of suggestions where the photo may have possibly been taken.

Once you see the suggestions, it will be really easy for you to discern the right location. Once you decide which one is it, all you have to do is to click ‘Snap to this location.’ This will enable you to keep track of your photos, relevant to a particular location, far more easily. This would also let other users to discover exactly the photos they are taking for, hence making the whole Panoramio experience lot more fun and efficient.

Another additional option for the users is to indicate if a certain photo was taken indoors. This will enable the users to get the right context of a photo and the correct relevant information. If you are not aware of Panoramio, you should view the video posted below to know about it:
