Beethoven’s symphonies have continued to mesmerize the admirers of music for more than a century. If you are among the ones who often play a Beethoven quartet on a slow afternoon to lay back and relax, you may not want to miss the live stream of all Beethoven string quartets by radio station WQXR.
WQXR is streaming the live performances as part of the Beethoven Awareness Month. The performances include all 16 of Beethoven’s string quartets, moving through his early, middle and later quartets.
The streaming is to continue throughout Nov. 18 and the tunes are actually being performed at Jerome L. Greene Performance Space in New York City. The quartets will be performed by world-class musicians hailing from The Orion Quartet, the Attacca Quartet and the likes.
