BlackBerry BBM Launchd For Android And iOS, 5M Downloaded In 8 Hours

BlackBerry has finally launched its BBM (BlackBerry Messenger) instant messenger service for Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android operating systems yesterday. BlackBerry has said that after rolling out the BBM messenger, a total number of 5 million users have downloaded it for Android and iOS in 8 hours.

BlackBerry was supposed to launch the BBMapp for iOS and Android on September 23, but the company suddenly paused “the global roll-out of BBM for Android and iPhone.” On the other side, the demand for BBM messenger for Android and iOS by users continued to rise. About six million people signed up for information about BBM at BBM.com.
