Facebook has been expanding the scope of Facebook data and features which the app developers can make use of. For instance, the social network has announced that third-party apps will be able to make use of Facebook mentions from now on.

So hows exactly will this new feature work? Imagine a photo app that makes use of Open Graph. While using the app, you take a pic and want to tag any friend.
