Something Is Wrong With Yahoo Mail, Inboxes Are Filled Up With Spam

Yahoo users have been complaining for the last few days about a surge in spam in their Yahoo mail accounts. It goes without saying that Gmail’s spam filtering is now best among the other mail services, but Yahoo mail was not poor either. Unfortunately, Yahoo users are getting lot of spam mails for the last couple of days. The most funny thing is, Yahoo has been certified by DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance). This means, in future Yahoo services are supposed to be heavily protected against phishing attacks and spam.

In single word, DMARC is a protocol/policy that ensures all listed members exchange experiences among themselves to fight spam. Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, PayPal, AOL, Microsoft are proud members. So, it is expected that Yahoo mail would be efficient in filtering spam. But, it seems to be doing the opposite.
