However, behind all these achievements, adventures and notorious acts, he is still a kid. In a sense, he does look like a demigod as far as the size is concerned. At 15, he is already 6 foot 7 and weighs a whopping 220 pounds.

Derek reveals that his personal information has been published by other, rival hackers online many times. In fact, his house has been raided by SWAT teams many times, again, because some other hacker called them and made up a story.

He says that he got into hacking from Xbox gaming. He discovered the numerous the numerous scripts that in other words served as game hacks and that diverted his attention to the world of hacking. Within no time, he was a master of tricks and hacks for breaking into accounts on different websites with utmost ease.

Eventually, he was invited to join the UGNazi group, which was originally created to retaliate SOPA. He did and he helped the group hack a number of high-profile sites. The most high-profile hacking by the UGNazi group was that it was able to break into the CEO of 4chan’s email account and hack the website.

His real name is not Derek. That’s just the name Wired used, with an editor’s note that said “Because he is a minor, Wired is not disclosing Cosmo’s real name.”
