It’s nothing new that companies often promote their products by actors or players via advertisement. German multinational corporation Adidas has done the same thing recently. Adidas has made Adizero F50 Messi boot, and to promote this boot, the company has chosen the soccer superstar Lionel Messi who is seen wearing an LED suit.
In this new promotional video, wearing an Adidas TechFit suit with hundreds of LED lights sown into it, Messi is seen playing with a ball fitted with LED lights that light up the stripes on his boots.
This new promotional video is directed by Marcus Lyall through ML Studio. The video has been filmed at 1,000 frames a second using a Phantom camera to allow it to show off Messi’s moves in fine detail.
The promotional video has instantly caught the viral bug, amassing over 1.5 million views in less than a week. Here’s the video.
