First Ever Apple Store Wedding!!!

Have you ever heard of it? probably not. When I heard it, I thought it’s a new iPhone app that somehow acts like a priest. Ha ha..joking. But here’s the interesting news that a couple just tied their knot at New York’s Fifth Avenue Apple Store on the valentine’s day. It’s probably the first time ever wedding at the apple store. Though unofficial, Steve Jobs was invoked during the ceremony – “You have to trust in something: your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.”

The celebrant wore a black turtleneck and read vows from an iPod. The ring was brought in on a first-generation iPhone. And the bride and groom both said iDo. This might be the first couple to get hitched at an Apple retail without permission, flash-mob style, by a celebrant dressed like Steve Jobs who pronounced the solemn vows from an iPhone. The news was first tweeted by an Apple employee of New York’s Fifth Avenue store.

The Apple employee tweeted:
“Just had an unauthorized wedding in the apple store. Priest dressed as Steve Jobs. Read vows from iPhone.”

Groom Joshua told Entertainment Weekly he met his bride-to-be Ya Ting at an Apple retail store:

“We got to know each other because Ting was looking to buy an iPod…and I managed to strike up a conversation that way.” Romance blossomed for the two iLovebirds. “I used to joke that the Apple Store is my church because I am not religious, and I loved everything Apple,” Josh adds. “Ting then came up with the idea of having the wedding there.” They haven’t decided yet where to have a reception, but I hear Cupertino is lovely this time of year.

The rings were carried on a 1st gen iPod and her vows were written on a card that said “I love you more than this”
