We recently reported about a purportedly leaked label that detailed the specifications of the upcoming model of 13-inch MacBook Pro. And now, yet another label has surfaced which now claims to contain detailed specifications of the 15-inch model of upcoming MacBook Pro.
Asus is showing a 11-inch UX21A touch-enabled Ultrabook at Computex in Taipei. The ultrabook is pre-installed with Windows 8 and fully explores the touch sensitive features of the operating system. Its touchscreen is exceptional but whole design is conventional. Asus mentioned that the ultrabook has not made to the production line yet. That means, consumers may have to wait couple of months more to get their hands on the device.
A lot of analysts have been saying that Apple will probably take the event of WWDC 2012 as a chance to announce the new releases on its flagship line of MacBook Pro and MacBook Air devices. Lenovo has introduced new ThinkPad tablet at Computex which is running on Windows 8 OS. Though previously we have been seen Windows 7 tablet by Lenovo such as ThinkPad X220 but for the first time, we have been seen Windows 8 tablet. It does not a mandatory upgrade from one OS to another, it means that Lenovo are going into a new category. If you are a fans of ThinkPad or Windows or both, you will feel better when you will see its design and basic specifications. The company did not mention about its model number, price tag, and when or where will be available.
Samsung has introduced two new Series 5 touch enabled ultrabooks at Computex in Taipei. Both Ultrabooks have Ultra Touch with Ultra Convertible which is designed around Windows 8 and offering 1366 x 768 touch screens. The Ultra Convertible carries the concept further with a 13-inch display that can fold all the way back. Samsung did not declare till now when the ultrabooks will be available in stores or how much they will cost.
After the introduction of Logitech’s solar-powered K750 wireless keyboard and Solar keyboard Folio for iPad, the company brings the sequel of those two – a Wireless Solar Keyboard K760. It features Bluetooth connectivity and allows users to switch between Apple devices. Users can pair it with multiple devices at the same time.
Intel is planning to add enhanced connectivity features to its Ultrabooks and tablets that would give its users automatic access to free Wi-Fi hotspots worldwide. Recently, Intel and Devicescape has completed a deal to implement this feature on ultrabooks and tablets. By using Devicescape’s Wi-Fi management tool Intel users will be able to automatically connect their Ultrabooks or tablets to open Wi-Fi hotspots. The technique, dubbed as Intel’s Smart Connect Technology, will support automatic update of e-mail, Facebook, Twitter and other apps by using Devicescape’s Curated Virtual Network (CVN), even when the device is in sleep mode.
Google has rolled out a new crossbreed service of Google+ and Zagat named Google+ Local on Wednesday. By using the ‘Local’ tool, users can discover and share information about nearby places which is actually featuring Zagat scores and recommendations from trusted Google+ users. Beside that, the new service embodies information from Zagat, which Google has bought for $151 million last September.
