Some users had been complaining that ever since they updated to OS X 10.7.3 they haven’t been able to restore their Mac through Time Machine. Apparently, Apple has heeded their plight and has now released a supplemental update to OS X 10.7.3 that should solve this problem. Of course the update will require that you run OS X 10.7.3 on your machine before installing the update.

Apple and Google will be in for such charges against their companies like that for patent infringements and for privacy issues, from other companies, users and states. Now, U.S. Senator Charles Schumer (New York Democrat) wants the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to investigate both the giants, Apple and Google, for stealing users’ private contacts and photos without prior permission to do so. Recenlty, Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android have faced charges for accessing users’ data and there has been no serious action from the government condemning such acts even remotely.

Currently, Apple has one official carrier at China and has nearly sealed a deal with another major mobile carrier in the country. However, the largest carrier in China is China Mobile and Apple hasn’t been able to reach a deal with it yet, though there is hope this may happen soon. What’s interesting is that although the carrier is not iPhone’s official carrier, it has some 15 million subscribers who are using iPhone 4S. Some of these users has problems receiving signals on their devices and Apple responded promptly to resolve this problem.

Apple’s has secured the top spot in Fortune’s list of most admired companies, one of the most prestigious positions for the business world. And by no means has this crown gone to the company for the first time. Apple has grabbed the spot for the fifth year in a row! This distinctly shows the immense success iOS devices have brought to the company. The second spot this year went to Google while Amazon stood on the third position.

Some users of iMac have been experiencing problems with their ATI Radeon graphics cards. The chief problem is that the system stops responding while working. Now, Apple has re-released the iMac graphics firmware 3.0. The word re-released is being used because Apple released this version back in August last year and has now released it again under the same version number. This means the new update essentially contains few changes and is meant primarily to fix the aforementioned problem.
