Scientists Use 26,000 Photos To Create 281-Gigapixel Embryo Image

Electron microscopy has long been used as a technique to capture the details of cellular structures at a very micro level. However, until now, the technique was used only to capture a small part of an organism. Now, however, researchers have been able to apply the technique to capture ultra-high-resolution image of the entire zebrafish embryo.
