Samsung announced a new laptop line, adding the Series 7 to the existing Series 3 and Series 9 lines and also the new Series 7 has a super-thin metallic chassis, incredibly bright display and a hybrid storage system designed to make a regular hard disk act like an SSD. On the inside, users can get up to a Core i7 2675QM CPU clocked at 2.20GHz, up to 8GB of RAM, Radeon HD 6750M graphics, and a 750GB HDD spinning at 7200RPM and there’s an additional 8GB of flash memory mounted on the motherboard that helps shave boot times down to mere seconds using Sammy’s FastStart technology. LG has rather predictably come to the rescue with the 3D Game Converter, an Open GL powered piece of software that allows you to switch 2D applications straight into 3D and the software is set to be included in the first maintenance release for the Optimus 3D, which will be pushed out around October time depending on the carrier. The engine can be used by developers to quickly and easily release 3D versions of their existing 2D games and it will end up providing customers with more content for their 3D-enabled hardware. The Optimus 3D will get the 3D Game Converter via an update scheduled for October and will be on display at IFA in Berlin and also will probably be running some 3D games………….

The Korea, LG Electronics (LG) tintroduced their newest development in home entertainment, the LW980S in Seoul. The LW980S is a topof-the-class TV that combines LG’s advanced CINEMA 3D technology, Smart TV functions and NANO FULL LED all in one sleek package. LG shows two sizes, 55- and 47-inches are feature “Nano LED” local dimming with as many as 2,300 sources in the larger one and 480Hz motion technology. This smart TV also features like Cinema 3D, Magic Motion gesture remote control and its Smart TV with built-in WiFi and lot more.
