According to 9to5Mac, Apple has seeded certain mobile carriers with a near-final build of iOS 5 and these builds are different from the developer seeds we have seen so far with the enabling of Nuance’s Speech to Text as a system-wide service. Carrier partners are now receiving near-final builds of iOS 5 for testing and in the carrier test build that isn’t in the latest beta 7 release is FaceTime 3G support. In regards to FaceTime 3G, Apple is heavily stressing the importance of the feature, though ultimately it will be up to carriers to allow the feature or not…………………

Unofficial cases have already been made available for the fabled iPhone 5 and those uggesting that the elusive device will boast a 4 inch screen and be noticeably thinner than the current model. Deutsche Telekom Begins iPhone 5 Pre-Orders

Without knowing any details on Apple’s next-generation iPhone, including its release date, Deutsche Telekom still began offering customers the ability to preorder the handset and customers can reserve the next-generation iPhone. The carrier is reportedly concerned about supply bottlenecks at launch of the so-called iPhone 5 and customers who request the successor to the iPhone 4 will be granted a coupon for when it finally goes on sale. Apple is said to be already meeting with chip suppliers as it looks toward production of its next-generation A6 mobile processor in 2012 and moving its chip production away from Samsung and looking to TSMC for foundry services and SPIL for back-end services. TVC Mall, a Shenzhen-based electronic parts wholesaler is listing replacement camera module, battery and audio jack cable parts for what is labeled as iPhone 5 and the parts have some superficial physical differences when compared against the iPhone 4. The iPhone 5 battery looks similar to the iPhone 4′s, its label shows 3.7V and 5.3Whr while the iPhone 4′s battery shows 3.7V and 5.25Whr and the new part number is 616-0580, but the old iPhone 4′s part numbers are 616-0513 and 616-0521……………..
