Alibaba Cloud Computing Brings Mobile OS For K-Touch W700 Phone

Alibaba Cloud Computing, a developer of advanced data-centric cloud computing services and a subsidiary of Alibaba Group, has announced its internally developed cloud-based mobile device operating system. This OS is expected to release in September. The new OS ships on a rebranded Tian Hua K-Touch, the W700, for ¥2,680 or $416. Accorting to engaget users receiving 100GB to store their contact information, call logs, text messages, notes and photos that is accessible from both PCs and Aliyun-toting handsets. HTC Desire Finally Get Android 2.3 Gingerbread!

HTC Desire owners to make a 180-degree turn from their decision not to release the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for said smartphone which is quite surprising considering the 24 hour turnaround time. As of June 14th, there’s just “not enough memory” in the Desire for Gingerbread to run properly. HTC UK’s Facebook page has mentioned that “Contrary to what we said earlier, we are going to bring Gingerbread to HTC Desire.”
