As Huawei’s first quad core smartphone, Huawei has officially introduced at MWC 2012 last month. Huawei will start production the Ascend D Quad in June and the handset will only be launched starting July. That means we have to wait more than few months for this phone. Side by side Huawei’s main competitors HTCs One X and Samsungs Galaxy S3 will be available at the same time.

Mobile phone manufacturer giant NOKIA has first announced about this phone at MWC 2012. This phone is already popular because of its 41 MP camera with Xenon flash, though NOKIA did not declear the release date of this phone till now but we expect that NOKIA 808 PureView will release within May 2012. It goes without saying, this phone is really a coruscation from the side of NOKIA.

ASUS showed off a shape-shifting device, Padfone during MWC 2012. It was an impressive piece of hardware from ASUS and although ASUS hasn’t officially revealed the pricing details of the device yet, a retailer claimed that the device costed £700 which roughly translates to some $1,100. Naturally, that was enough to quell all interests of most prospective users. However, ASUS has now debunked the claim by the retailer and says that it hasn’t officially released any pricing details yet.

Lumus comes back with a second optical engine after showing off Lumus See-through Wearable AR Display at CES 2012. Recently the company showed this optical engine at MWC 2012. You can consolidate the OE-31 in regular glasses such as the sunglasses with embedded MP3 player. The wee OE-31 sensor weighs only 10 grams (.35 ounces).

The Mobile World Congress this year served not only to unveil some of the coolest smartphones, tablets and other devices and technologies, it was also kind of an occasion to socially mix for tech companies. It seems that Microsoft and Zain Group really got on well during the event, so much so that both entered into an agreement that Zain Group would launch Windows Phone devices in Middle East and North Africa regions.

LG has just declared their latest wireless charger, WCD-800 at MWC in Barcelona. You are able to finish any work when your Smartphone is charging by the normal charger but wireless charger gives you more freedom. Unfortunately most wireless chargers are unable to do much with the device while it charges.

Huawei has totally rocked it’s who at MWC 2012 by a broad range of LTE products. The crown of the entire event can be said to have gone to Huawei, who unveiled a smartphone which Huawei touted as being ’49% faster than the world’s fastest smartphone.’ And further validated this claim by numerous benchmark tests. With such devices in it’s fold, Huawei naturally has global aspirations. According to an announcement by the company, the LTE mobile products will hit the European and Asian markets by July this year.

LG Electronics successfully displayed the world’s first voice-to-video call switching over a LTE network at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2012. The demonstration applied LG’s proprietary technology, it allows users to switch back and forth between high quality voice and high resolution video call modes during an ongoing conversation.

Apparently it seems that when the Mobile World Congress will end then the mobile device world will look forward to the March 7 event by Apple. All IT experts have been already confirmed that the iPad 3 will be announced then. The company is hoped to launch two iPad 3 models, one is a 16GB version and other is a 32GB version. Apple TV will go on sale after the iPad 3 announcement although that has yet to be accomplished.

Microsoft used a transparent OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) in their research in June 2010. They became successful in their research. Microsoft used a camera beneath a transparent OLED to create gesture-based interaction. Recently, Microsoft research has unveiled a new research project. By using a Samsung-made transparent OLED and a Kinect camera, a 3D interactive desktop becomes enabled. This is simply a different creative project.

We all are acquainted with Acrobat. Most of the time, people do various type of acrobatic steps, sometimes animals do also. But did anyone one hear about Robots are doing acrobatics? I guess, NO. this time, instead of animal or human, robots will do the acrobatic styles. Well, a robotics research team at the University of Pennsylvania has designed a system to coordinate a number of small quadcopters.
