LTE has become the standard for 4G mobile infrastructures and in LTE World Summit in Amsterdam revealed already over 200 operators committed to LTE and the number of LTE users should reach more than 200 million users in 2014. Now BTS and Radisys recently demoed their CoreTx and Trillium products, which may one day bring 4G connectivity to dangerous spots like disaster areas and battlefields and BTS already offers 3G connectivity in select areas of Afghanistan, where the company is looking into furnishing this system with an upgrade so that it can support both LTE and HSPA+ in the future…………….

BTS Corporation and Radisys Corporation held a live demonstration of their interoperable products – CoreTx and Trillium at BTS Network Solutions‘ headquarters in Columbia, MD. The CoreTx solution and Trillium software deliver commercial grade 4G LTE technologies in harsh operating environments, enabling their customers to develop and rapidly deploy end-to-end 4G LTE cellular networks. With a 3G cellular solution already deployed in Afghanistan, BTS has established itself as a leading provider of small form factor, ruggedized and rapidly deployable cellular technology.
