Yahoo Wants Remote Employees To Relocate To Company Facilities

Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer is under lot of pressure to bring the company back on track. But, she is not going to take it alone; so it appears in a new HR plan instituted by the chief executive. A number of sources have confirmed that the new HR directives require remote employees to relocate to company facilities.

Yahoo

The decision impacts hundreds of employees who are currently working from home or form another office where Yahoo doesn’t have an office. Employees must either comply with company directives or quit. This has angered a lot of remote employees, simply because these employees were hired under the assumptions that they could work more flexibly. When Yahoo was asked about the new policy, a company spokesperson said that the company does not comment on internal matters.
