Pandigital Novel e-reader hits the FCC

It’s all about Pandigital Novel e-reader.The e-reader hits the FCC.Did u think it just great??????

Pandigital’s already manage to at least pique our interest with its Android-based Novel e-reader / handheld, and it looks like the device has now reached one more milestone on the road to availability — it’s just turned up at the FCC.

As you can see, the particular device undergoing testing is black (not white as the final version will apparently be), and the FCC unfortunately doesn’t give us much of a look of that bright 7-inch LCD in the on position. It has, however, given us a glimpse of the device’s insides, subjected it to the usual battery of tests, and kindly provided us with the device’s user manual — though there’s not too many surprises in there at this point.

Hit up the link below for all that and more.

question… On the pandigital website it says there is a US model and a Canadian model of the pandigital novel 7″ wifi color ereader. I was wondering if there were any reviews for this item. I am thinking of getting this ereader at future shop or best buy locations in Canada. On both of their canadian websites it says that the ereader they sell play sgames and have a lot of the features the US model has, where the Canadian model cannot play games and is limited to features. I was wondering if they sold the US model or just made a mistake? If anyone knows that would be great, and if there are any reading / video reviews for the Canadian model.

I bought mine from best buy in USA almost a month ago, and I love it but hate it. There are no games pre-loaded, I haven’t found a way to download any extra applications including games with out downloading the firmware that turns it into the droid phone(and I mean phone, there are disclaimers about how it will state phone when referring to the devise), and by doing so voids the manufactures warranty. Honestly I don’t know what to do. I does have some good features about it but it is a bit disappointing. The web browser sometime shuts down without any notice, I haven’t found the specific AVI format that it plays, I would like it to have more apps(notepad, calculator, etc.), BUT I did buy it to be able to read books for school in full color and it does serve that purpose and it is a fun little gadget with minimal possibilities, I guess I was expecting more that I should have.

Did you ever figure it out?  I thought it was customer error when I first got mine, but come to find out that my first Pandigital Novel White was broken.  They gave me a new one that was updated and I am good to go.

My Pandigita ebook will not turn off when I slide the top button to the left, even if I hold it there for a minute.

My Pandigital Novel will not hold a charge.  Does anyone know if the battery needs to be replaced?  Can it be replaced?
