We have talked about so many robots till now. But lots of robots are still in process to be made. Recently, a research group at Keio University has made robotic rings. This robotic ring is just like a finger ring. Wearing robotic ring helps you communicating with others easily without saying anything. This robotic ring is really innovative and quiet amazing.

When someone wears this robot on hand, the robot uses the hand as a media to communicate with others. In fact, it imitates eye and mouth movements while the hand or finger changes its position or shape. The robot has electromagnetic motors in the eyes, which are controlled electrically. This bottom part of the robot contains a microcontroller to move the eyes. There is a battery included too. At present, robots can communicate with people from a distance. Anyone can control the robot using special-purpose microcontroller and a PC. Check out the video below.

These robots are not fully prepared. They are under development at Keio University. This robot is made for fun. According to its creator, they have made the robots as an entertaining communication device. We believe, future improvements may enable the robots to sense motion by the wearer and people nearby and move autonomously.
