Apple Collecting Retina Display For New MacBook Pro From LG

It is a question, from where Apple is collecting its retina displays for the new MacBook Pro? Some days ago, a source claimed that Apple is using Sharp’s IGZO technology to make retina display for the new MacBook Pro. But, new sources say that LG is supplying the retina display for Apple’s new high-resolution MacBook Pro. iFixit has unveiled this news via their Twitter account.

Reportedly, LG was predominantly a major supplier of LCD displays to Apple. In 2009, both companies has signed a $500 million deal for the supply of LCD displays through the year 2013. Alongside, Sharp is also a major partner with Apple, because till now Apple is collecting most display products from Sharp.
