Apple Started Discount Program For Employees, $500 Off On Macs, $250 Off On iPads

A major Apple Employee discount program was announced by Tim Cook in last January, and was said to take effect in June (this year). According to 9to5Mac, Apple has kept its word and started the discount program on June 20. Under the Apple Employee discount program, now Apple employees can purchase a Mac computer with a $500 discount (excluding the Mac mini) and an iPad with a $250 discount.

Usually, Apple employees get a 25% discount through Appleā€™s internal employee portal when they buy any Apple product. Those people who are employed for at least three months in Apple will be able to avail the discounted Macs and iPads. But the bad news for employees is that they can’t buy Retina Display MacBook Pros. This offer will be available every three years.
