Uncover To Sell 3 MacBook Pro Laptops That Will Have Steve Jobs’ Shadow

Apple co-founder late Steve Jobs was special and Apple is in some ways a special company. But, the future of Apple without Jobs will be written not by what Jobs has left behind, but by what current CEO of Apple Tim Cook and his company do every single day. Cook as well as Apple have honored Jobs’ legacy already. And now, laser-cutting outfit Uncover, in memory of Steve Jobs, announced October 5 that they are going to sell 3 MacBook Pro laptops via auction that will have Steve Jobs’ shadow with the rear-illuminated Apple logo.

The shadow of Steve Jobs with the rear-illuminated Apple logo design derives from Jonathan Mak. Mak is an teen artist from Hong Kong. Last year he created this symbolic image (shadow of Steve Jobs with the rear-illuminated Apple logo design) to honor the the late co-founder. At the bottom of the laptop, there is an engraved following quotation of Steve Jobs.

When you grow up you, tend to get told that the world is the way it is and your life is just to live your life inside the world, try not to bash into the walls too much, try to have a nice family, have fun, save a little money. That’s a very limited life. Life can be much broader, once you discover one simple fact, and that is that everything around you that you call life was made up by people that were no smarter than you. And you can change it, you can influence it, you can build your own things that other people can use. Once you learn that, you’ll never be the same again.

Be noted, each of the Retina-equipped tribute MacBook Pro laptops will come with a 2.7GHz Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of memory and a 750GB SSD.
