PreApps Offers Pre-Submission App Exposure And Marketing To Developers

Every month, thousands of iOS and Android apps are submitted to both Apple App Store and Google Play store, respectively. However, given the sheer bulk of apps hosted by these apps marketplaces, very few get the spotlight. PreApps now plans to change this by offering developers pre-submission exposure for their apps.

PreApps

The startup is based in Boston and aims to provide developers a platform to showcase their apps, gather pre-release feedback and create buzz around their apps before they push them on to actual app stores.

The website will offer developers the ability to submit their iOS or Android apps for free although they will have to pay to access premium features of the service. Whereas the startup is still fresh, the team behind it seems very optimistic towards the idea on which it is based.

According to the CEO of PreApps, Sean Casto, “This is truly the wave of the future. For too long mobile app developers like myself have been drowning in a sea of tremendous competition with no available life raft for the little guy. PreApps will give small developers the ability to build loyal user bases and compete with the big boys.”

PreApps will launch on January 24 and will start accepting submissions from developers immediately. “Promoting your app is a major problem in the industry, and PreApps is a wonderful solution” Casto claims.
