Nikon Unveils 20.1-megapixel Budget Compact Camera – Coolpix S3500

We have already seen Nikon Coolpix S800c – the first smart camera with android. The camera grabbed a lot of attention from customers. Recently, Nikon has just unveiled a new budget compact camera called Coolpix S3500 which is said to have more traction power than S800C. The Coolpix S3500 is a more than 20-megapixel camera along with many other features.

The Coolpix S3500 camera comes with a slim body for easy handling and transport to your favorite events or gatherings. It features HD video recording capability, lens-shift optical image stabilization which is also known as Vibration Reduction (VR) technology, and a variety of modes for different shooting situations. It includes a 20.1-megapixel CCD sensor, a 7x f/3.4-6.4 optical zoom lens and a QVGA (320 x 240-pixel) LCD. It can also shoot 720p video.

As having lens-shift VR technology, users can snap clear shot despite shake and movement. That’s not all. Users can edit images with the software’s integrated editing functions. Coolpix S3500 camera offers consumers a mix between price and functionality. Besides through built-in Quick Effects and Glamour Retouch, users can retouch images and add some “glamour” effects like blush on cheeks and skin softening.

Nikon’s Vice President of Marketing, Planning, and Customer Experience Bo Kajiwara, said, “… COOLPIX S3500 is the ideal choice for the stylish, on-the-go consumer that never wants to miss a moment.”

The camera will be available later this month in five colors: Silver, Red, Purple, Orange and Decorative Pink. And its price will be $139.95.
