Leaked Video Hints At Google Now For iOS Soon

Google’s increasingly popular Android tool, Google Now, has been making a lot of headlines lately. The search giant has pushed it aggressively to become a Siri alternative in the realm of Android and it is attracting raving reviews. Now, a leaked video hints that Google may be ready to launch an iOS version of Google Now.

Google Now for iOS

Android users have been using Google Now to get weather updates, launch web search and accomplish a whole lot of other tasks. Naturally, the service is fueled with data from Google’s other services, which adds to its appeal. Moreover, Google has been fairly diligent in creating a really cool user interface for the tool.

So it was only a matter of time when Google decided to bring the tool to the iOS platform. A video was posted on YouTube yesterday, which showed what seemed to be the iOS version of Google Now. The video was pulled from the site soon after the posting, but Engadget was able to download it.

Now, the video is available on Engadget’s site and it shows what features Google Now packs for the iPhone users. Of course, there’s the question of this video’s authenticity. Apparently, the voice actor in this video seems to be the same who provided voice-narration for the Google Now announcement video.

That seems to hint that the video was indeed real. Also, the fact that the video was pulled from YouTube soon after substantiates that thought. You can watch the video at the link posted below.
