US Cellular’s Only Rugged Device — Kyocera DuraPro

The Kyocera DuraPro features a low-resolution QVGA 2-inch display of 240×320 pixels, and its 3G data speeds are just enough. Its 3.2-MP camera comes with a 12x digital zoom and has five picture modes (normal, beach/snow, scenery, mirror image, and night/dark), three meters for brightness, sharpness, contrast, and five white-balance options.

There is a hot key that is used to turn on the camera’s LED flash, so it can be used as a flashlight. If you press any of the aforementioned buttons, the screen will light up and show you the time, new received message, battery life and other features like GPS and Bluetooth if those are turned on.

There is a 2.5mm headset jack for audio output which is covered by plastic door. To connect with the standard pair of audio or headphones, there is a converter cable that allows you to plug in 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 4 inches tall, 2.1 inches wide, and 1.1 inches thick and weighs 5.3 ounces. You will get the Kyocera DuraPro forĀ $149.99 at U.S. Cellular signing with a two years contract.
