Get $25 Windows Store Gift Card On New Windows 8 & 8.1 PC Purchases

With the holiday season on full swing, Microsoft has also come up with its own holiday deal. The company is now offering $25 Windows Store gift card on the purchase of every new Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 PC.

Windows 8 PC

The sweet deal comes with a few limitations. Only U.S. purchases will qualify for the $25 gift card and the deal will be limited to tablets and touch PCs. Of course, anything you purchase from either of these two categories must be running Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 if you want to get the free store credit.

The best part is that the promotion is available across a whole range of retailers and is not limited to Play store. The official post announcing the deal cites that the $25 Windows Store gift card will be handed on all qualifying purchases on Amazon.com, Best Buy, Staples, Fry’s Electronics, Office Depot, Wal-mart.com, OfficeMax, Sam’s Clud and Microsoft Store.

Moreover, the gift card you receive must be redeemed by February 28, 2014 and funds from it ‘must be spent within 120 days of the date the card code is redeemed.’ That is a deal with a whole lot of limitations but still, if you have been planning on buying a new Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 PC, not only will you be able to do so this holiday season at a lower rate, you also stand to get free Windows Store credit.
