The co-founder and CEO of Instagram, Kevin Systrom announced about “Instagram Direct” in a press event at New York City. He introduced private photo, video sharing and messaging features along with a awesome camera interface. As we all know, Instagram is already one of the most popular social networks but this new features adds a extra phase for the company.

Before this upadte, Instagram users had to use different apps for sending private message to their follower/friends. But now it’s pretty easy to send photo and video messages individually to your Instagram friends. A new icon has been added in the top right corner of your home feed, if you have updated app from app store. You just have to tap on that icon to send or check private video and photo. So now anyone can chat within Instagram and share personal chit-chat including photos and videos. But there is a limitation for this messaging service as you are allowed to sent message up to 15 persons only.

This feature has added a new interface for camera which introduced photo straightening and simplified some video settings. After capturing a photo you can crop and give them a touch from interesting filters. Then it will let you choose either Followers or Direct. You have to choose Direct for sharing private message.
