Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 Now Available In UK, Costs £649

Earlier this month, we reported that South Korean giant Samsung is making a 12.2-inch Galaxy Note Pro tablet. Now Samsung has confirmed that the 12.2-inch Galaxy Note Pro tablet is now available in UK and it costs £649.

The 12.2-inch Samsung Galaxy Note Pro is the latest Android OS, v4.4 (KitKat) running tablet. The device has a WQXGA LCD display that can provide a resolution of 2560 x 1600p. It has a stylish S Pen. The WiFi and 3G models contain an Exynos 5 Octa chip with a combined 1.9 GHz quadcore and 1.3 GHz quadcore processor. At the heart of the Note Pro 12.2 LTE model, there is a Snapdragon 800 2.3GHz quadcore processor.

In addition, it packs 3 GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear camera capable of shooting Full HD 1080p video and 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls. It also supports 802.11ac on top of the usual a/b/g/n, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 + LE, and an IR blaster is included for remote control access using Samsung’s WatchON service.

However, at present, a WiFi-only version of the massive tablet is available for pre-order in the UK. You’ll get the tablet along with a free gamepad for £649 ($1,076). The shipment of the tablet will start from February 4. There is no mention when the tablet will be launched in the U.S.
