Spice Mobility has announced announced the launch of its 3D mobile phone in India that called the Spice M-67 3D. This autostereoscopic 3D cellphone is sold for less than $100 (Rs. 4,299).The Spice M-67 3D phone has a dedicated key to switch between 2D and 3D viewing modes for the UI, images, and video.
Spice M67 3D is a high-performance multimedia phone that comes in a black glossy metallic covering with elegant looks. It features 6 cms 3D Auto-Stereoscopic Display Screen, Dual Sim option, 2 Mega Pixel Camera with 1600.0 X 1200.0 Pixel Image Resolution which delivers good clarity and quality photos and videos, T-Flash Card along with Expandable Memory up to 16 GB . It is also equipped with FM Radio with Recording, MP3 Player with Dual Stereo Speakers, 3D Video Player, Stereo Bluetooth, JavaScript support, Preloaded Games, GPRS, and WAP Browser. It also offers Unlimited Phonebook Memory, Multi-Language Support, 3D user interface, Maximum SMS storage capacity, and many more other features. It includes High-capacity Durable Li-ion 1100mAh Battery which gives talk time of 4.5 hours and standby time up to 260 hours. The launch of this device is further evidence of the general momentum towards 3D mobile. It shows the consumer demand for 3D multimedia features in developing markets, even in a lower spec device with no 3D capture capability and a low res screen.
