This a new cellphone by Nokia and the model is N8.It’s coming at market on August 25.So we are waiting for Nokia N8…

As official confirmations go, this is the weakest kind. A Nokia store employee has informed Pocket-lint that the N8 hero device we’ve all been waiting for will be launching in the Queen’s backyard on Wednesday, August 25. That’s only a day off from the August 24 tip that we had and definitely seems to narrow down the release window, but let’s retain our signature skepticism.

The new communication device from the Finnish company is endowed with powerful features, with the intention of creating stiffer competition for other killer phones like the apple iphone and Blackberry.

The phone comes with a new operating system, multi-touch abilities, and is bent on offering a never before camera experience with its in-built a 12 mega pixel camera.

The Nokia N8 is offering intuitive connection with people and places, via the strong social networking nature of the phone. It allows for users updating their status, sharing photos, and viewing live feeds from social sites like Face book and Twitter.

The price of Nokia N8 for the UK has not been disclosed, but it should be around £315 (the equivalent of €370 – the initial N8 price announced by Nokia).

The Nokia N8 showcases a sleek and fully functional outlook, with a large 3.5-inch capacitive touch screen. It comes with dimensions of 113.5mm x 59mm x 12.9mm and weight of 135g (with battery). It boasts an anodized aluminium casting, available in varying vibrant and attractive colours like silver white, dark grey, orange, blue and green.

The large capacitive touch screen has a resolution of 640 x 360 pixels, and has the ability of reflecting up to 16.7 million colours, with a proximity sensor and ambient light detectors. The phone comes with a capacitive stylus, and has finger touch support for text input and alphanumeric full keypad.

The Symbian 3 serves as the latest edition Operating System from range of Symbian software’s, with better features like multi-touch, pinch to zoom, faster and responsive user interface with new 2D and 3D graphics

The device has 16GB in-built internal memory which can be increased to 48GB via a micro SD slot of up to 32GB.

The Nokia N8 uses an impressive 12 megapixel in-built camera with Carl Zeiss optics, Xenon flash. The phone offers HD video recording system of DVD quality, and enables access to both local and global Web TV services. It also has an FM transmitter and uses Ovi maps for location finding and navigation.

Connectivity mediums on the phone are Bluetooth 3.0, Micro USB connector, 3.5mm AV connector, and HDMI. The phone has a BL-4D 1200 Mah Li-Ion battery, which guarantees a 14 hours talk time, six hours of video playback, and 50 hours of music playback.

Until one of Nokia’s higher-ups or their PR team busts out an official release date, we’re still dealing with speculative information. Then again, if you wanna book that week of August off from work, we’d totally understand.
