The upcoming 55-inch WRGB OLED TV (Model 55EM9700) weighs less than 10 kg (22 pound) and comes with a massive OLED display measuring 4mm (0.16 inch) width/thick and 54.6-inch diagonal. Besides, Four-Color Pixel system with a white sub-pixel works with traditional red, blue, green picture displays and offers “infinite contrast ratio.” That means the display will provide a high-quality image.

Currently, LG has 1400 retail stores throughout Korea and will start taking pre-orders for the 55-inch WRGB OLED TV on January 3, Thursday and will ship the first batch to early Korean adopters next month. The TV will cost 11 million Korean Won (approximately US $10,000). Added to these, pre-orders for this TV in other countries will be announced over the next couple months, along with the pricing in each location. But it has not been mentioned, when the TVs will be shipped.
