Libratone AirPlay Speaker Will Be Available In October For $399

Libratone has introduced for the first time a truly hassle-free, wire-free as well as no-compromise AirPlay wireless speaker called Libratone Zipp. To run this speaker, you don’t need any Wi-Fi network and complicated setup, because the company has used its owned developed new PlayDirect technology in this speaker. You can not only use this speaker for your home entertainment but also use it in picnics, camping trips and other outdoor activities. Salty Grey or Raspberry Red colored of Libratone Zipp will be sold at Apple Stores and Apple Online from October 2012 for $399.

As the speaker runs on battery, you can carry it anywhere and enjoy high-end wireless audio. Once full charged battery provides up to eight hours of playtime in wired mode and up to four hours using the wireless connection. Besides enjoying music anywhere, anytime, you can also change the speaker’s wool covers in eight vivid colors to suit all tastes and occasions. The Libratone Zipp wireless speaker supports iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, Mac as well as PC.

The company has not mentioned the specific released date of Libratone Zipp. Initially, it comes in 3-pack-color boxes including two extra wool zip-on covers. The collection of boxes will be sold broadly in retail and online from October 2012 for $449.
