AT&T Unveiling Shareable Rollover Data To Its Customers Effective From January 2015

AT&T has announced to offer it “Rollover Data” program for its Mobile Share Value® Subscribers to satisfy its customers following the offer of its US wireless competitor T-Mobile. As per the press release by AT&T, the offer will be effective from January 25 of 2015.

The best part is this will be valid for both the new and the existing customers. It seems they are bothered by the same offer of T-Mobile called ‘Data Stash’ which was announced on December. Both the offer by the giant carriers will be effective from January.

For example, if one family is subscribed with 4 lines of 15GB AT&T Mobile Share Value Plan and uses 11GB of it in any given month, that leftover 4GB will be rolled over in the next month for that family. So, they will get total 19GB for the next month to use. That is, you have the option now to use your full data which you have paid and it is actually your right to claim your data. But that unused data will be rolled over in the subsequent month only. On the other hand, T-Mobile is offering their unused data to be valid for 12 months. The rollover data is sharable which means all lines of that family plan can use the unused data.

“Rollover Data is an added benefit of being an AT&T Mobile Share Value customer and it’s just another way that we’re saying thanks to our more than 50 million plus Mobile Share Value subscribers,” said Glenn Lurie, President and CEO, AT&T Mobility. “We’re providing even more value and flexibility, and the best part is it’s simple, shareable and easy to track for our customers. All Mobile Share Value customers get this automatically.”

Hopefully, other carriers will have some offer soon for their subscribers to be competitive enough to meet the demand of their customers.
