White House Petition Launched To Ban Straight Men From Driving

Women have taken their stand against people vouching for more restrictive clothing for women to prevent potential distractions for men. A petition has been filed on the WhiteHouse.gov “We The People” site asking straight men to banned from driving.

Want to know reason behind the petition? For some time, some people have been advocating for restrictive women clothing and less sexually suggestive billboards near roadways. They are also asking to ban women from wearing short shorts and tank tops near roadways, because they create distractions for male drivers.

The creator of the “Prohibit Straight Men From Driving” petition has used that argument as a boomerang. The petitioner argues, “If straight men (and men of other sexual orientations who are attracted to women) can be distracted by the mere sight of a woman’s thigh, then it is a public safety hazard to allow them to operate vehicles that weigh thousands of pounds at up to 75mph past these inevitable distractions.”

I’m sure you can sense the humor. Lot of others does. Because the petition has already got 12,000 votes, and need about 88,000 more to receive formal attention of the U.S. President.

If you agree with the petitioner then you can express your support here.
