Western Digital Launches WD TV Play Media Player At $70

Western Digital quite a familiar brand in the storage market, with some interests in multimedia products. This time it introduces a budget home-theater media streaming device, branded WD TV Play, similar to Apple TV or Roku.

Thinking about control? Easier than ever; you can use the bundled remote or WD’s TV Remote app on iOS or Android devices to control the device. Other features include like Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity, USB 2.0, HDMI, optical audio, and composite video out. This media payer supports almost all the audio-video formats you need.
