Google Plus For Android Updated, Brings Hangouts

The fresh update of Google + app recently available brings hot new features for Android fans. One of the improvements allows users to start Hangouts much easier than before, directly from Google + Messenger. On a recent blogpost, Punit Soni, product manager on Google+ for mobile, understandably describes the good news enthusiastically “With the magic of hangouts on Messenger, now a simple tap of a button can move us from our Messenger conversation to face-to-face group video chat.”

In addition to Hangouts on Messenger feature, new Google + app update for Android brings new design improvements that users will discover in the photos album view. Also, new icons will alert about new photo uploads on Google + and a feature called “People suggestions when composing a Messenger conversation” is expected to appeal to the users, as well as the option of leaving one to one Messenger conversations. Needless to say, this update also fixes various bugs found in the previous versions.

All you need to enjoy the new Google + app is a device running on Android with at least 2.3 version, also known as Gingerbread and a Google + account. A similar update for iOS allowing users to benefit from easy video calling from Messenger will be available “soon”, as Google officials promised.
