BlackBerry PlayBook Simulator Available Both for Mac and Windows

RIM has released the BlackBerry PlayBook simulator, allowing you to fiddle with the QNX-based operating system from the comfort of your home. The simulator was released along with the Adobe Air SDK and is available for both Mac OS X and Windows.

The “first professional tablet” will sport the following specs:

* 7-inch capacitive multitouch display at 1024 x 600 resolution
* Dual-core 1GHz Cortex A9-based CPU
* 1GB of RAM
* 3 megapixel front-facing camera
* 5 megapixel rear lens
* 16GB/32GB/64GB internal storage
* 1080p HD video
* HDMI port
* MicroUSB jack
* 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi
* Bluetooth 2.1

Unfortunately, the new BlackBerry PlayBook Simulator Beta does not offer much, as no applications or web browser are available. However, those who download the simulator are able to grab the wallpapers though.
