Apple Unveils OS X Mavericks At WWDC 2013

Apple‘s WWDC 2013 is running at full speed. Apple is spontaneously unveiling its upcoming products and iOS features. Few minutes ago, Apple showed off its latest Mac operating system, OS X Mavericks.

OS X Mavericks

The new Mac OS X Mavericks operating system has the ability to create tabs in the Finder and tag items to aid in search. Finder Tabs allow users to merge multiple windows into one window using Safari. Users will be able to copy files among tabs and swap from tab to tab to see multiple folders and files.

With OS X Mavericks, users will also be able to tag files, no matter where they live. When they are tagged, whether they’re on the computer’s hard drive or in iCloud, they’ll be searchable within the same Finder bar.

Apart from these features, Mavericks also supports menus and docks on multiple displays. It also offers independent swiping between desktops. Mission control has been super-charged for multiple displays. Users will be able to connect to Apple TV on a second display.

Users will be able to access notifications received while the Mac is in sleep mode without unlocking the screen. Mavericks also will update apps automatically and send a notification when it’s done.

Although developers got a chance to access the system of Mac OS X Mavericks at WWDC 2013, people won’t be able to experience the new OS till this fall.
