Sony is showing off several new computers at the IFA consumer-electronics show in Berlin. Among them Sony’s last big announcement for the day is the VAIO Tap 21, an aluminum-clad version of the original Vaio Tap 20 launched last year.

The Tap 21 is actually a 21.5-inch display, touchscreen’s resolution has been upgrade to 1920 by 1080 pixels then the Tap 20 had a 20-inch display which was limited to 1600 by 900 pixels. The PC weighing just eight pounds, and the company says it made the Tap 21 is 50 percent thinner and 30 percent lighter than the earlier Tap 20; features with Sony’s ClearAudio+ technology, so the PC can deliver a louder and clearer sound.

The Vaio Tap 21 also packs with some software programs such as Family Paint to take advantage of the 10-point multitouch. Processor options include Core i5 and Core i7 Haswell chips, and the Tap 21 will be available with an SSD or hybrid hard drive.

Although the Tap 21 is a far from “portable,” as it is too big but Sony plans to sell a carrying bag with this All-in-One PC. So that if any one want’s to carry the giant device they can pack it easily and carry with them. Sony will provide more configuration information as they get closer to shipping the product. And according to Engadget, the mobile desktop is expected to launched with an $880 base price.
