Withings is well-known for its health devices in market. This time Withings introduced a wireless bathroom scale and mobile app combination for monitoring your weight, at IFA 2012. The Wireless Scale WS-30 is an easy to use health companion that can connect to smartphones and tablets.

WS-30 Wireless Scale comes with apps for both iOS and Android. The iOS app is already available in Apple App Store but the Android version currently not released but will be available soon. So enjoy the PC-free experience (as the Withings said) as you can directly connect to the gadget from your smartphone. The Health Companion app provides a number of visualization options. To take control over your health, you can set weight goals and then track progress of your goal. The also supports push notifications.
You can also use third-party apps like RunKeeper to measure overall status of your exercise and fitness activity. Although there is no information on when WS-30 Wireless Scale will come to US, but the expected date its Europe debut is in late September with an expected retail price of €119.95 ($150).
