A few days ago, The Vancouver Winter Olympics 2010 kicked off with gorgeous inauguration. Here’s a good news for the iPhone users. To keep up to date news, I selected top 5 apps for your iPhone. Among them the first app is the official Winter Olympics app.

This app gives you complete coverage of all the news as it happens and medal updates. It also has a TV schedule built in so no need to miss any events. The apps also gives up to date information as it happens by push notification but to get this feature you have to purchase the full app at $1.99.

This a lovely app. This iPhone app tracks you location and then gives events that are happening in your location. This app is great for people that will be at the Olympics. This app is completely FREE.

This is an iPhone application that will be of great use to those of you who are new to the winter games arena. The iPhone app contains a list of rules, terms,  for all the Olympic sporting events. As you might expect, this iPhone app is free as well.
